Prince William of Great Britain participated in the 75th anniversary celebration July 24, 2009 in Cumbria England, Â of Mountain Rescue in the UK by going on a fell walk with a group of kids from one of his other charities, Centrepoint, Great Britain’s greatest charity for homeless and socially excluded youth.
William is a patron of both charities and actively encourages sharing experiences amongst them. As part of the festivities were challenges and opportunities for the kids to learn about life in the mountains, coping with weather conditions and  river rescues and searches. At the end of the day, trophies were awarded and everyone sat down to a bbq.
It looks like the dogs had just as much fun as the kids did and I’m pretty sure they were warmer!
