6 Most Expensive Celebrity Homes (and Their Dogs!)

Forget eating cold kibble in a plastic bowl by the laundry room.

Celebrity pets are swaddled in luxury, from their designer duds to their lush beds (both of which, might we add, are nicer than our own).

That’s why, when designing a home, many superstars will make sure there are plenty of amenities for their pampered pooches.

Today, we’re taking a look at some of the most expensive celebrity homes and the furbabies that lounge there.

Ready to go? Let’s get into it!

1. Oprah Winfrey’s Montecito Estate

Does your doggie love curling up in front of The Animal Channel? He’d have the time of his life in Oprah’s Montecito, California retreat, valued at $90 million.

With an in-home movie theater, six bedrooms, and whopping 14 bathrooms, there’s plenty of space for the television megastar’s five pups: Luke and Layla (golden retrievers) Lauren and Sunny (springer spaniels) and Sadie (cocker spaniel)!

When they tire of indoor luxuries, the mini moguls can head out to the fully stocked, man-made lake and splash around. Can we come too?

2. Hugh Hefner’s Playboy Mansion

With the recent news of Hefner’s passing, many wondered what would happen to the Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Lady and Charlie, he doted on with his wife, Crystal.

While it’s not clear yet where they’ll take up future residence, they’ve been living pretty high on the hog in the iconic Playboy Mansion, which is worth a reported $100 million, making it one of the most expensive celebrity homes ever.

When any of the mansion’s 29 rooms begin to bore them, the pups are free to wander around the guest house, try their hand on the tennis courts, or hit up the wine cellar, where we’d venture to guess they’re the life of the party!

3. Jay-Z and Beyonce’s Bel-Air Beauty

The reigning king and queen of rap are “Crazy in Love” with their fluffy white family dog, which they revealed to the world in 2016.

Though there has been speculation around the breed (Is it a poodle? Maybe a Maltese Toy?) and the couple hasn’t revealed its name yet, one thing’s for certain: It’s one lucky dog.

Complete with a 15-car garage, spa center, and whirlpool that seats 12 guests, the pair’s $120 million Bel-Air estate offers no shortage of opulence.

When the pooch needs to jet off to NYC for a weekend getaway, it’s no problem. A private helicopter pad is just steps away!

4. Tiger Woods’ Florida Compound

Following his high-profile divorce, Woods splurged on a $60 million mansion in Jupiter, Florida. He now shares the home with his son, daughter and their newest pup “Bugs,” a black and white cutie who joined the family in 2015.

In all, the family has three dogs, all of which are free to explore the 12-acre property’s many swanky features.

Arguably the best one? The four-hole golf course that serves as the backyard. Bugs may have a better swing than we do!

5. Ryan Seacrest’s Beverly Hills Retreat

The busiest man in Hollywood has to have an incredible place to chill, right?

Seacrest purchased his mansion from Ellen DeGeneres for approximately $49 million in 2012, making it one of the most expensive homes ever sold. He shares it with his three-year-old black lab, Georgia.

If the pond, guesthouse, and 9,200-square-foot main residence don’t offer enough excitement, Georgia can always come to work with her dad. She made an appearance on “Live with Kelly and Ryan” in May 2017 and earned rave reviews!

6. Michael Jordan’s Chicago Slam Dunk

There’s no denying you’re at MJ’s mansion! The basketball icon adorned his front gate with the number “23” to mark the spot.

With 15 bathrooms, a full basketball court, putting green, and even a card room, his northern Chicago estate has everything that anyone — and any dog — could want.

The family pet, a furry little nugget named Mila, can roam around the property’s indoor movie theater, basketball gym, cigar room, and more.

Have around $15 million to spend? You’re in luck! The home has been on the market for five years.
