Kate Walsh’s Doggy Beach Day

Kate Walsh

On November 30th, actress Kate Walsh enjoyed a day with friends and dogs. First the group grabbed coffees at Starbucks then they spent a few hours at the beach even though the skies were gray.

One of the dogs looks like Kate’s dog, Lucy, a Basenji mix!

Update: a CDW reader just replied the other dog is Rosie – a dog we’ve featured on here before that we were told was named FLOWER! We’re unsure of the name, maybe her rep will confirm. Stand by for the official info!

Flower is part-labrador and either part-rottweiler or part-German shepherd. Walsh and her hubby now have two cats and two dogs!

Yea! The world needs more animal lovers 😉

Update: Is this Kate’s newly adopted puppy? A Kate Walsh fan just emailed to tell us it is, we’ll try to get confirmation from her rep today.

Update #2: A CDW reader named Katie just informed us that this is Kate’s new puppy, Flower. She adopted Flower from Animal Haven in Soho. Cute name! Thanks Katie!

Kate Walsh

Kate Walsh

In this photo released by Pedigree, Kate Walsh, star of ABC’s Private Practice holds a puppy (named Bloom in the first picture who is up for adoption at the Pedigree Dogstore), today in New York’s Times Square.

Part of the 4th annual Pedigree Adoption Drive, the program, part of Pedigree’s DOGS RULE campaign, hopes to raise more than one million dollars for homeless dogs.

The Pedigree Dogstore is a two-week celebration of The Pedigree Adoption Drive, which helps millions of shelter and breed rescue dogs find loving homes.

At the Dogstore, you’ll have a chance to learn more about dog adoption and rub the bellies of some of New York’s most eligible adoptable dogs as they play in our indoor dog park.

And while you’re there, shop for exclusive Dogs Rule merchandise—with all profits going to help shelter dogs.

Got a few dollars to spare? Donate now!

We love this and will be making our own contribution to Pedigree as well.

Thanks Kate (not Walsh) for sending us the info!
